I’ve worked with Howard for several years, and what sets him apart is the way he combines modern technology with proper old-fashioned coaching skill and experience. His studio is state of the art and a fantastic facility, but the technology never takes over from the coaching. He doesn’t try to rebuild or change everything at once. I’m 65, play of a mid teens handicap and had been thinking of getting fitted for a long time. I’m sure many golfers like me have preconceived ideas about the benefit or process of club fitting and what clubs would be recommended etc. All I’m going to say is that I so wish I’d done this years ago. It’s amazing what a professionally run modern fitting studio can accomplish. As Howard (the fitter), says, “the stats don’t lie”, and the information from the technology is clear for you to see. The tech combined with Howard’s knowledge and patience was “eye opening” to the world of club head / shaft combinations. In truth I went with preconceptions and came away having ordered clubs I would never have even looked at in a shop. I definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking to replace their existing equipment for something new. The whole experience from website, online form, the subsequent phone call and appointment booking through to the actual fitting process was all first class.

Had an Iron fitting with Howard, which from booking through to placing an order was done in a relaxed and professional way.
Howard’s Knowledge is very impressive and with no sales pitch, made the whole experience a joy.

I’ve had a great experience working with Howard. Every lesson has been purposeful and I’ve gained confidence in both my swing and my understanding of the golf swing. Rather than just making quick fixes, he explains everything thoroughly to ensure that you are progressing correctly. He recently took the time to fit me into clubs that’ll allow me to keep improving. I cannot recommend Howard's coaching highly enough - keeps it simple and understandable. Been with him for 20+ years and whenever the wheels fall off my golf he is my go to for sanity!

Went for a fitting at Golf 4U Howard was a pleasure to spend time with I think I learnt more in 2hrs that I have at all my golf lessons, great experience and walked away with the right choice of clubs golf has got so much better.

Awesome, next-level club fitting! Can't praise them enough. Howard is an expert fitter and a former Tour player, and it shows. Everything he suggests, every change in setting, shaft, weight, or loft, is carefully considered and always with purpose. The setup is technical, but the final fit is down to feel, and I love that.
